Vadim Sushko – the artist, whose name is constantly attracts a wide variety of audiences. In his work influenced an entire generation of Hunt Soviet and post-Soviet artists who were dissatisfied with the nomenclature art and glossy interior.
It is difficult to attribute to a specific direction, to a particular school because the artist understands creativity as a tireless search.
Starting with 1960 – an extraordinary artistic flair did not give the young Vadim Sushko merge with.
He constantly tried himself in various techniques: sharp, geometric lines, impressionistic multicolor, monochrome "severe" style – subjecting all these techniques and new themes and new challenges – creating something extraordinarily expressive landscapes, the romantic portraits, genre paintings is on the postwar and Stalinist theme.
He formulated the idea of "solyarografii" in the end of 1980 – form the basis of a series of abstract – surreal paintings. Such postmodern experiments seem unusual compared to his seeming more "traditional" past, but more importantly to remember the principle of openness and any form of artist trends, each of which he was convincing.
After experiencing the impact of Post-Impressionism, Fauvism, Cubism and Expressionism, the only thing he was right – it is the principles of freedom of creativity.
In recent years, Sushko Vinnovki paints landscapes, close to him the theme of spiritual revival of modern Russian heartland, as embodied in the construction of churches in his beloved village. At the same time it is known for a large series of "banschits" and other paintings, where the love theme served with verve and passion bashful.
